Ok so a few things have happened since my last post. This past Saturday, Nov. 13th, I did my first triathlon with my new bike. It was the SHAC sprint tri and was a good learning experience. My swim is still a little slow. Then during my transition from swim to bike I couldn't get my jersey on. It bunched up on me so I took it off and put it back on and it was inside out. I left it that way because I didn't want to waste any more time. My bike ride felt really good and then I transitioned from bike to run and took of running. I got about 20 yards when I realized I forgot to put my number on so I ran back and got it and then headed out again. I felt good about my run as I finished my 3 miles in under 20 minutes. I also participated in the St. George marathon in October. I ran good for the first 22 miles and then started to get dizzy from the heat and had to walk a little to get my balance back. Still ended up with my 2nd fastest marathon time. Here is a link for those result..

This week I've done a mile and a half of swimming and a 9.6 mile run. Nothing today because I got food poisoning yesterday afternoon and I've been weak. But I'm starting to feel better and should be back at it again tomorrow.
